This Web Site is focused on the Genealogical aspects of both the Nye and Pereira sides of our Family. It is not a one-name study but instead traces the ancestry of both the above surnames with respect to our family.
We started collecting this data through the endeavours of Margaret's late father, Frederick James Nye, who began this genealogical task in the 1980s.
Our own efforts have been focused on extending Frederick's work on the Nye side of the family, whilst also following all other paternal and maternal ancestral lines.
In the course of collecting this data, my wife and I have had much help from many individuals, the most noteworthy are four on the Nye side and two on the Pereira side of the family:

- Peter Thomas Pereira for the ancestral link from Mordecai Pereira upward and his own family. Also for many interesting facts, military and peerage, concerning the Pereira families in Jamaica, India and other far flung places.
- Linda Powers for the Albert, Buckingham and Whittington branches of the family.
For readability the tree starts with an Ancestral View and then takes a top down (descendant) view of each branch.
